Starting with The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show at The Lowry, from the 28th of May until the 1st of June. This critically acclaimed production features 75 different loveable puppets and adapts four stories by author/illustrator Eric Carle: Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks, The Very Busy Spider, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. 

For curious and creative minds, explore LEGOLAND Discovery Centre for special half-term activities and dive into the world of Lego building and creativity, suitable for all LEGO enthusiasts. Calling all dancers, dance away at the day at Afrocats x Whitworth this May Half Term from Wednesday 29 May, 12 pm-3 pm and Thursday 30 May, 12 pm-3 pm, enjoy a selection of activities from drumming, dance, and creative arts workshops.

Fancy something creative and crafty? Enjoy a selection of crafty, dress-up, colouring activities this half term at Elizabeth’s Gaskell’s House, including a puuuurfect cat trail around the historic house to be enjoyed by all the family. Let your mind wander and enjoy some science fun at The Science and Industry Museum with their gloriously gross events, with their Operation Ouch! coming to an end on the 9th of June. A truly entertaining day out for all the family, to test that scientific knowledge.
