This annual event is celebrated in the last week of June, and is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of wellbeing in all our lives. From mental health to physical fitness, from workplace wellness to environmental sustainability, World Wellbeing Week is a time to reflect on what it means to lead a balanced and fulfilling life.
World Wellbeing Week was established to shine a spotlight on wellbeing, offering a platform for everyone to promote and think about the many aspects of wellbeing. It is a time to reflect on our wellbeing and check in with ourselves and the people we love around us.
For World Wellbeing Week, we focus on the five pillars of wellbeing, including mental, physical, social, workplace, and environmental wellbeing. To participate in World Wellbeing Week, you can't pour from an empty cup, so take some time out for yourself, and take part in activities to nurture your mind and your body. Our RE:TREAT studio classes are a great place to recharge, reconnect, and replenish your mind, body, and spirit, ready to take on the rest of the week.
Secondly, connect with others, reach out to friends and family to check with your loved ones, and spend quality time to feel recharged from the chaos of life. Thirdly learn something new, try that hobby you have always had in the back of your mind, this can certainly boost your physical and mental wellbeing.
Throughout the week, RE:TREAT has been taking to the streets of Manchester, spreading cheer with a Spin The Wheel, to win multiple RE:TREAT prizes, and Instagram giveaways. All we aim to do at The Lowry Hotel is spread joy and happiness to Manchester!
World Wellbeing Week is an excellent opportunity to reflect on and improve the many aspects of our lives that contribute to our overall wellbeing. By focusing on mental, physical, social, workplace, and environmental wellbeing, we can create healthier, happier communities.
